What is this?

I’m not entirely sure what I’m gonna do with this place. I’ve begun playing around with PICO-8 and while I have posted a bit about that on my cohost, I’m still not sure if that’s the right place. Plus I can’t embed games over there. I think a self-hosted static site makes the most sense. I’m using jekyll to generate the site from markdown, which is the lowest friction option I’ve found.

I’ve also been sitting on some essays and programming projects and things that I might like to put up somewhere and even write about.

What is this not?

This will not be a personal blog or diary of any sort, my time of keeping a public journal is long over. These days I vastly prefer the tactile sensation of a nice fountain pen on really good paper. But for more technical discussions, and for a place to “publish” my stuff, as it were, my nice paper diaries just don’t cut it.
