Packing Day - July 7th

Photograph of a large orange cat with long hair sitting right next to a black cat who is laying down. The black cat has a harness and leash on but the orange one does not. They are at the front of the porch, just before the first stair down, and are watching something in the distance.
I really just adore this photo of Mitchell and Sabot together on the front porch. That day I really just put off packing until the late evening. This image came from Signal, meaning either my wife or our ex sent it to the group chat at the time, it seems. I’m not sure why it’s in my camera uploads, but I still really love the photo and I’m putting it here anyway.

Travel Day - July 8th

Two Attendee badges for Summer Games Done Quick. They have this pastel purple and white dragon art on them. They both say Attendee. My wife's has her handle "wijn" and pronouns "she/her/hers" and mine has my handle "sugar" and pronouns "she/her".

Day 1 - July 9th

My wife and me, playing linked Puyo Puyo on arcade machines. I am wearing a dark KN95 mask and my Puyo board is looking pretty healthy. My left hand delicately holds the joystick while my right is positioned over the buttons.
This pic of me and my wife playing Puyo together is one of my favorites.

ereader in a red cover with two stickers on it: One that says "LOVE WITHOUT BORDERS" and another of Sonic the Hedgehog rendered as a ice cream truck-style popsicle
Some stickers I got at the vendors and from MSF.

Day 2 - July 10th

A selfie photo of my wife and me. We're both wearing masks, glasses, and tank tops. We're smiling with our eyes. We're in a big ballroom. Photograph of my point of view at the time, looking to the stage where they are setting up for a new game run and on the projected screen behind them is a prize segment feature the mascot of The Yetee (merch partner), the Yetee, a blue and white abominable snowman muppet.

A photo of a projected screen showing a bunch of people sitting in chairs watching something else. Two of the women in the center are facing the camera and thus appear to be looking directly at the viewer. They're waving. It's us
I really loved being in the crowd, and it was really fun to shoot heart hands or wave at the camera for the folks watching at home!

Day 3 - July 11th

Didn’t really take any pictures this day.

Day 4/Finale - July 12th

Sadly no pictures worth sharing :(

Travel Day - July 13th

Graffiti on a brick wall that says "NO SEX ONLY GRAFFITI"
Some graffiti I saw downtown four times on this trip (Metra into Union Station, Amtrak out, Amtrak in, Metra back out).
